What I mean by that, is that every married couple will have to go through some rough spots, but it's what we make of those rough spots that really count. Do we just want to take the easy way out and say I QUIT because of them, or do we have what it takes to stay with it and WORK OUT those rough spots and build a strong marriage.
My wife and I nearly separated after 16 years of marriage, but we decided one day that staying together and saving our marriage was worth the extra time and effort that was needed to work on our problems. Let me tell you, when you start looking at what you have done with your marriage from the time your first said I DO to the point the problems jumped out at you, you'll begin to see why the problems cropped up in the first place.
